Bible Study Club
The Bible Study Club was one of the first clubs established within the organization of IndigoRunMen (IRM). From the very beginning, this club attracted a unique cadre of IRM with an interest in reading the Holy Bible, analyzing its texts and evaluating the messages found within the corpus of its writings from a religious, a secular and a non-denominational point of view.
Since its inception, the Club has been guided by Dr. Tim Perkins who has carefully selected passages from both the Old and New Testaments for both personal and group evaluation. Reading and discussions of these biblical texts have provided the Club members with insights into the meaning of Scripture as well as an historical overview of probably how and when the Hold Bible came to be written over the years.
As more IRM members from various Faiths have joined the Club, an increased synergy has developed in relation to interpretations of biblical texts, ever increasing the sense of what the Holy Bible has meant to those raised in the Judeo-Christian principles practiced by the Club members.
Meeting once a month for an hour, with both selected and ad hoc reading assignments, members find a personal and even an ecclesiastical enrichment in their own daily lives.

The Book Club
Since its fo8unding, the Book Club has been resourceful in selecting, reading and then discussing books of fiction as a literary genre, Membership in the Club has included IRM members form various careers and professions, all of whom have blended into a distinct group of critics... both positive and negative...of the genre.
Books are selected by individual club members on a rotating basis and the book selector usually serves as host for that book's discussion session. Analysis of the corpus of the selected book with plots and sub-plots, protagonists and lesser characters, as well as critical acclaim form literary reviews, or lack thereof, have all shown to be highlights of this Club's activities and modus operandi.
During the past year Club members decided to broaden their literary scope in tow different and innovative ways: by adding works of non-fiction to the Club's repertoire, as will as classic works of literature from some of America's iconic literary giants. In widening literary horizons, Club members maintain that additional growth and appreciation of the several linguistic genres will enhance their appreciation and knowledge of good writing as will as provided a significantly meaningful platform for the exchange of thoughts and ideas which will provoke and elicit discussion.
