IndigoRunMen sponsers breakfast, lunch, or dinner meetings that feature guest speakers on topics of local or national interest. We also offer golfing events for our members. Our events typically require a reservation and payment of an event fee. Although the fee may be different, our events are usually open to all men from Indigo Run, whether they are members of IndigoRunMen or not.
The IRM Monthly Breakfast has become an event with excellent programs provided by guest speakers. The guest speaker for the January breakfast was Kim Likins from Town Council. Kim reviewed the town's 2013 priorities. Of particular interest were plans for the new Sheltor Cove Mall and the development on town land near the Mall.

The Kings Bay tour of a nuclear submarine base showcases the training equipment and highlights the operation of submarines.While there, we will tour a nuclear submarine. This tour is an overview of the unclassified spaces of a Trident nuclear submarine. The base is located in Southern Georgia, close to the Georgia-Florida border. Attendees will need to show a photo ID for security purposes to enter the base. This photo ID will be matched to a list of attendees, we submit approximately one week in advance. The tour will be "walking" intensive, including traversing ladders. People using canes, a walker, and/or oxygen bottles can't tour the submarine. People who have a fear of heights or enclosed spaces may have problems while on board the Trident nuclear submarine. I am sure you will agree that this is a unique opportunity and we give special thanks to Charles Gobrecht for making the arrangements.
