The Indigo Run Women’s Club offers many Interest Groups which are described below for your review. They provide a wonderful opportunity to meet new people while participating in activities you enjoy. You must be a member to participate.
The Indigo Run Women’s Club offers many Interest Groups which are described below for your review. They provide a wonderful opportunity to meet new people while participating in activities you enjoy. Look for more information in your monthly newsletter.
Afternoon At The Movies: Enjoy a current movie followed by dinner. Afternoon at the movies is scheduled for the second Wednesday of each month.
Arts and Antiques: Meets several times from September through May. Programs include house and museum tours, visits to area historic sights, and antique stores.
Bunco: An easy dice game for people more interested in socializing than following complicated game rules. Twelve members meet on the fourth Wednesday evening of each month in Indigo Hall. Put $5.00 in the kitty to be shared by winners and byob and an appetizer to share.
Day Trippers: Day Trippers explore the low country with day trips to interesting places in the area.
Dinner Club: Four dinners for eight people are scheduled through the year. Members of this group will participate in the preparation and hosting of each dinner. The Interest Group will gather at the beginning of the year to discuss menus and plans for upcoming season.
Garden Club: This club offers a variety of activities including lectures, gardens tours, and more.
Gourmet Lunch Bunch: Eight to ten members meet four times a year to gather in the home of the hostess for a specially prepared theme luncheon.
Line Dancing: Line dancing is dancing in a line to various types of music. Learn a different dance each week. Line Dancing meets on Tuesday in Indigo Hall.
Mah Jongg: This group meets every Tuesday evening at the Golf Club Card Room.
Outing Group: This group meets several times a year for Kayak tours, beach walks, and nature tours.
Treat The Troops: This group bakes cookies and sends them to the troops overseas.
T’ai-Chi: T'ai chi is a Chinese exercise system that uses slow, smooth body movements to achieve a state of relaxation of both body and mind. The T’ai Chi group meets every Tuesday and Thursday morning in Indigo Hall.
Zumba: Zumba is a form of exercise that combines Latin and international dance. This group meets Friday in the Indigo Hall Veranda.
